A & S McArdle and R L Persey are farming partnerships. One of the areas of business for A & S McArdle is an Events and Training Venue business branded as Colliton Barton Events and Training Venue. This privacy policy applies to all business functions and areas of the Partnerships.

The rollout of the GDPR prompted an information audit of the partnerships. We consider the GDPR to be a live process; a journey moving forwards, rather than a destination to be reached by the 25th of May, and our policies will be under regular review accordingly.

Information we collect and what we use it for

When we provide you with courses, training, or services we may collect and store any personal information that you provide to us in order to record your attendance, and to issue certification and photo ID. We may, for example, keep a record of your name, address, email address, photograph and telephone number. We may also record details of any dietary,  disability or health needs you may have at the time of booking an event or service which will take place at the venue or any of our other premises to help to ensure your comfort and safety.

If you prefer to pay for a training course with a credit card we use iZettle as our online payment platform. All credit card data is handled by them, and the transaction takes place between the user and iZettle - we receive only a notification of payment. When you interact with our website, we may also automatically collect the following information about your visit. This is primarily to help us better understand how our customers use our website to enable us to create better content and more relevant communication:

Access To Information & Your Rights

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy within your account. Under the GDPR, as a customer of ours, you have several rights in relation to your personal data which include:

Marketing

We do not use email newsletter services at the moment and have no online store of marketing information. This is under review - any changes in this policy will be reflected in this privacy policy, and new systems will be designed with GDPR, and the notion of consent, at the very centre of any process we create.

We use Google AdWords and our membership of Lantra to advertise the courses and training on offer.

Disclosure of your information

In order to provide services to you or to otherwise fulfil contractual arrangements that we have with you, we may need to appoint other organisations to carry out some of the data processing activities on our behalf. These may include, for example, email and file-sharing providers, payment processing organisations, accountants, delivery organisations, fraud prevention and screening and credit risk management companies, and mailing houses.

We use G Suite from Google as our provider of Email and Cloud File Storage. Their privacy policy is available here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=en Admin accounts use Google 2-Step Verification, and we use VPN for our internet connections.

Please note that for your/our safety and security, CCTV is in operation in all of our premises which are open to the public.

Please include your name, address, date of birth and email address when you contact us as this helps us to ensure that we accept amendments only from the correct person. We encourage you to promptly update your personal information if it changes.
